Skill quests for secondary professions - Guild Wars Forums

I'm thinking about going questing to pick up some skills for secondary professions. When I played through Prophecies I was a W/N and accepted quest rewards and received the skills at the time.

This was before it was possible to change secondary profession at will like it is now. So I'm wondering if I can go back into Tyria and redo some quests with another secondary. Is this possible? I already accepted quest reward as W/N.

I have all three campaigns and could do so in Factions as well. What do I need to know about doing this?

No. Once you've done a quest, it's impossible to redo it (specific repeatable quests aside).

Factions doesn't have skillquests at all outside of the Shing Jea ones which a Tyrian character can't get anyway.

however, you can go back and do quests that you haven't done due to profession requirements. eg. you can now go back and do the mesmer specific quests or the monk specific quests.

Ok thanks. I found some info on another site. Apparently, I can do quests at Ascalon and Yak's Bend for my other secondary professions as I'm a Tyrian character. Not a big deal, but if they're free why not.

A quick clairification question ... If I did NOT have a monk secondary when I first went through Proph and now after finishing the game want to go back and capture Monk skills do I have to do it in some sort of order? The reason I ask is, I get the Monk quests in Old Ascalon, Yak's Bend, etc., but NOT in Beetletun or in Ettin's back. I'd really like to go grab rebirth but I am not getting that quest from Deep Root.

I think you can only do the quests in Old Ascalon and Yak's Bend. That's what I was able to do when I went back and redid them for the secondaries. Guildwiki lists the skill quests and the ones I was able to do were NOT listed on only one line (so the w/n/r/m/mo/e listed across on the same line will not work as you already accepted reward for that as your first secondary). You can redo the quests, if they are listed across on more than one line (sort of diagonally. Go to Guildwiki skill quest site and you'll see what I mean -- I hope).
